Machine function and structure introduction

1.1 Machine introduction

The equipment adopts a high-end numerical control system to precisely control each servo axis, coupled with the high rigidity and high stability of the whole machine structure, so as to realize high-speed and high-precision processing of glass. The completely self-developed CAM software has powerful functions. It can automatically generate processing technology for different processing graphics, and generate processing programs according to the specific technology. At the same time, it also has auxiliary functions such as library management and tool library management, which greatly reduces the difficulty of processing operations. , The requirements for operators are further reduced. The electrical components used in the equipment are all CE certified, and the connectors of the electrical components are waterproof to ensure safety.

1.2 Main functions

Vertical drilling and milling machine is a composite glass processing equipment that can complete a variety of glass processing；

Counter-drilling: Due to the structure of the front and rear spindles of the vertical drilling and milling center, the equipment can realize high-speed counter-drilling before and after, so as to ensure the high-demand processing quality and accuracy;

Milling: simple and fast operation: the front and rear spindles can mill and grind the inner edge at the same time;

Grind corner: There are two grind corner methods: 1. Use the chamfering wheel directly, 2. Install the chamfering sleeve on the drill bit;

1.4 Structure 

The vertical drilling and milling center has a small footprint and is easy to disassemble. It is mainly composed of a manipulator, a glass input end, a processing area, a glass output end and a tug at the bottom. The glass is placed on the input end tug, and the backrest of the input end is supported. The servo motor is connected to the drive gear of the reducer to provide power to the clamp. The clamp clamps one end of the glass and transports the glass to the processing area. After the glass reaches the processing area, drilling, milling and other processing are performed. During the processing, the front and rear spindles can automatically complete the tool change according to the processing technology, and automatically complete the processes of drilling, milling and grinding the inner hole. After processing, the clamps transport the glass to the output end of the tug, and finally the power output device transports the glass to the output end。

The X, Y, and V axes are driven by high-precision rack and pinion gears, and the Z and W axes are driven by high-precision ball screws. The X-axis controls the left and right movement of the glass, and the Y and V axes control the electric spindle and the sliding plate to move up and down along the front and rear vertical beams. , Z and W axes control the forward and backward movement of the electro-spindle.

Structure advantages:

1.5 Clamp and Y、V axis clamping device

After the glass is loaded, the glass is positioned and clamped by the clamp and transferred to the processing area. At the same time, the pressing wheel and the internal support wheel in the processing area will fix the glass. This method can improve the rigidity of the glass processing and ensure higher processing quality . The clamp can flexibly adjust the clamping position according to the actual size of the glass, so that the clamping force is more reasonable.

1.6  Tool Magzine

 The vertical drilling and milling machine is equipped with a 7+7 tool magazine with a total of 14 tools, which is located in the middle of the tool magazine beam in the processing area, which is convenient for tool change and can meet the tool requirements of complex graphics.

1.7 Electric spindle

The electric spindle is one of the most important parts of the equipment. The electric spindle of the vertical CNC glass drilling and milling machine is a high-speed electric spindle with a central water outlet independently developed by the our team. Has the following characteristics：

1， The intelligent electric spindle has a central water outlet function, which can transfer cooling water to the inside of the tool used in processing, and cool the tool during the processing process to improve the processing speed and quality；

2， In order to ensure the service life of the electric spindle, the our team has done a lot of research and development and adopted a series of measures：

l The front end of the electric spindle adopts patented air-sealing technology to prevent cooling water from entering the inside of the electric spindle；

l The spindle adopts nitriding treatment to improve the wear resistance of the spindle to extend the service life；

l The use of a constant temperature water cooler ensures that the electric spindle can run for a long time under different ambient temperatures；
